WhoHears - Issue #20
Hi there,
This is our 17th weekly gems playlist. The “go-to” place for discovering and enjoying interesting music gems picked by real genuine people.
Thank you for joining us in our mission to share the love for music!
This week favorite DJ
MOODYMANN - An outspoken voice in the normally non-confrontational world of electronic dance music, Moodymann (Kenny Dixon Jr.) is committed to keeping a distinctly black imprint on techno and house.“I don’t make music for the masses to dance to. I make music for the small majority that listens.”

Moodymann's pick for this week.
Im 55 and still can’t keep still when I hear this track. I don’t move like I used too, but still move.
Released: 1985
Gems picked from the vaults of collectors:
Peven Everett - Put Your Back Into It
One of the songs that made me fall in love with this musical genius. This song is one of the hottest house songs, eeeeever.
WAY ahead of its time. Every-time I cry.
I first heard it around 82’ I was completely fascinated by this particular record, and today, thanks to the internet, I rediscover it again.
This reminds me of coming home from some illegal warehouse rave. Back of a minicab knackered, this classic playing on a pirate station.
Omg! So pleased I’ve found this tune!
Blue Gas - Shadows From Nowhere
Bee Gees when they got sucked into a Tron computer.
